I seek to do what most deviants don't. Actually, real deviants do what I do, not the dA deviants though. Too much (blind) love and not enough critique pushes a great art site like DeviantART from a virtual Louvre to yet another Gaiaonline extension.

My current focus is to give unbiased, straight-to-the-point critique on deviantART's hottest art: the most popular ones in the last week or month, and perhaps some featured 'deviations'. (Love will be given only when it is due. Tough love, that is.)



I was once a fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and liked the direction they were going after Heroes, in 2003. But after a 2 or 3 year hiatus and the 'Shadow the Hedgehog' game...

The fanart for StH is top-notch, as fandoms go. Well, 'top-notch' as in 'nearly Naruto-crazy'. Some artists stand out, and a few of them have been on dA long enough to wake up from the great pragmatic disillusion of a popularity contest and leave altogether: etc.

(And yes, my avatar can be used everywhere, for any 'deviations' that you might cringe at!)
